Bins & Recycling

The recycling system in Wales

Wales has a strong set of goals in relation to recycling which we’d really appreciate your help in meeting. Key to this is separating waste into the relevant recycling groups when it is collected from the property. To help with this we have provided the below items.

Please can you ensure everything is bagged as detailed below before putting in the outside bins

Utility Room

A set of three bins in the left-hand side of the lower cupboard. These can be used to separate waste into the three groups listed below. They can be used as needed since different visitors will use different amounts of each type of waste. If disposing of large amounts of glass, consider using two bags to avoid breakages.

Bags for all the bins are available on the shelf at the top of the same cupboard.

At the top of the yard by the hedge (unless the bin men have not returned them) are two bins. These are collected on a fortnightly basis. There is a green bin for the various recycling items and a black bin for general waste.
